Now I am being hassled by collectors. I do not believe that I owe the
school money, but I do not know how to address this problem
effectively. Throughout the past year and a half I have attempted to
speak with various people within the school's financial aid office but
those talks did not progress very far.

I am not at a point where I still feel that I am being unfairly billed,
but do not know how to go about effectively arguing my case and getting
the aid reinstated. The aid in question is for Fall '02. I was
notified of its withdrawal over 1 year ago.

Any advice?

Ask collectors to provide you with evidence of indebtedness. Impute
fraud. Copy to the educational institution.
