Hello, I have a BSEE with a 3.03 GPA from UIUC (one of the best
engineering schools in the world). I have been working in sales and
consulting for 3 years. I recently took the GRE and got 800 on math
and 650 on verbal. I know I want a higher education, but dont know
what. I liked EE at UIUC, but I didnt start liking it till my GPA was
incorrigible (see, I'm good at verbal Wink ). My last 2 years at UIUC
(which is when I took all the high level classes) I had a 3.5 GPA.
Can I get into a good grad school in Chicago with my history?

Anyways, the only thing that REALLY interests me are planes. I want
to work on planes. I think. What would be the best subject to go to
grad school for? I know they say EE's work on planes but is there
someone out there that can give more insight on this? I'm interested
in EE's that work in the aerospace industry. I realize Boeing is an
obvious choice, but I want more details, preferably from someone who
has some real experience. I think that I would not be happy working
for a Motorola or some semiconductor, but I think planes are cool as
hell. Would working as an EE on planes be equally boring as an EE
working on RF or chips? Thanks.
