I am wondering this is right place I could ask the question.

For SAT Vocabulary Test (40 questions) , how do I interpretate the scores of the test. I assume the test is vocabulary level test which means it can be used not only for a particular grader, but for arrange of graders, say 3rd grader up to 12th graders. If so, which score represents entrance to advanced level of 3rd grader, 4th grader, 5th grader, ......

Or which score tells you appromately have 2,000, 3,000 or 4,000 vocabularies correspondingly. I assume vocabulary in 40 questions is used against database of 5,000 SAT words. Or it simply tells % of words you know within the database.

The tested words are picked up randomly from the database, the score is the percentage of the words that you know.
