Is there a difference when using on of those terms?
eg: gene variability or gene variabilities"

emmm, I know the difference but I am not sure whether I can express it precisely. Sad
Well, variability means the action or the fact of changing or the possibility of being variable or changeable. Variabilities is the plural form of the word, however it has another meaning as all kinds of the phenomena and results of changing.
