What are the popular names and the vocabulary you use connected with SMS-
text messages?
Do you say: "I am sending an SMS" or maybe "I am sending a text message"
What words do you use?
Regards,
Pawel

I believe that many people refer to it as "texting" as in "I'm texting Tom". |

So you don't say:"I am sending an SMS?" |
to send: an e-mail, a letter, but not sms?

You can, but I understand that the "in" verb is "to text" |

That reply would imply a question of "What are you doing?"; I'm not
sure that this is really what you meant.
| Quote: | to send: an e-mail, a letter, but not sms?
|
I am sending an e-mail, I am writing/posting a letter (depending on the
context), I am sending a text. (These forms use the nouns.)
On the other hand:
I will e-mail you, I will write to you, I will text you. (These forms
use the verbs.)
