Remember that scene from "Forrest Gump" when he runs just after he managed
to get free from his leg braces? One of the looker-ons said:"This is sure
the running fool".
Anyone can explain what it means?

Regards,
Pawel

Since it was an American film (1994) I butt in again. As well as I can
remember, Forrest Gump was a great success at (American) football, known for
his running ability. Calling a fast runner a "running fool" is a
good-natured way of complimenting him on his speed. The line may have had a
double-meaning, of couse, since Gump was mentally retarded.
