My question is in regards to writing a recommendation letter.
Specifically, I am writing a recommendation letter for an intern who
worked for me and will be applying to graduate school in electrical
engineering.

For the recommendation letter, should I focus more on the specific
tasks that he performed, the knowledge that he gained, or his general
characteristics? Should I include any first-person references such as,
"What struck me the most was []'s ability to . . ."?

If anyone has experience writing recommendation letters, or has some
form letter that can lay out the basic structure of the letter, could
you please contact me?

Thanks,
Susheem Gupta
