Hi,

I wanted to say that my work was pretty hard and passing one day at
work were like passing one year's time. Should I say:

One day at my workplace is like one year's time

or

One day at my workplace were like one year's time

?

Thank you in advance.

David

Was like.

Was like.

Usually it would be "was like a year", rather than the longer form.

"A day at my work feels like a year."

An hour of reading AUE posts often feels like a lifetime.
