I don' know about Britain's history.
I hope that tell me the anwser about these qustions and short anwser.

1. name for the independent irish government
2. uprising in dublin stopped by the british army
3. britain's nickname during the industrial revolution
4. irish river where william the orange defeated the irish
5. provides aid to the elderly in britain
6. where oil was discovered
7. this was done is 1832 to help the poor
8. britain became a member in the seventies
9. to take without permission
10. time when most people were out of work

Is this for a class? These "questions" remind me of History problems I
had to face on quizzes or tests. Look in your textbook. (If I'm
completely wrong about this, please accept my apologies.)

Irish who supported William.

It's the newly-devised nationality quiz. An immigrant needs to know the
answers to many questions of this type to prove he's up to British
Standard.
