They weren't loquacious in line, more in the pub itself.

Perhaps the cold of Sweden subdues them, who's to say? Isn't their
suicide rate the highest in the world? Weather may have something to
do with it.

The *reported* suicide rate may be higher in Sweden than in other
countries. In other countries there may be religious or
insurance-related reasons to avoid reporting a suicide.
