As said earlier, a lever-arch file isn't just a binder. It's a binder
where the "rings" are arches, and the opening is controlled by a lever.
I've never seen one with more than two arches, but I suppose they might
exist.

As Laura says, they are for holding more material than a standard ring-
binder.
