I really like Malcolm in the Middle, and today one of my favourite episodes
was on BBC2.

As soon as I recognized the episode I said to the missus, "Hey! This is one
of my favourite."

And here is where a little learning can be a dangerous thing. If I had never
heard of courts martial, and autos-da-fé, and mothers-in-law, I would
instantly have said ".Malcolm in the Middles."

But I wasn't sure. Was it Malcolms in the Middle?

I stared at her with my mouth open.

"One of your favourite what?" she asked. I could say nothing.

"One of your favourite what? What? One of your favourite what?"

She shook me by the shoulders.

"One of your favourite what?! One of your favourite what?!!"

But there was no reply.

Dance like the teardrop explodes.
Love like you're Frank in Blue Velvet.
Sing as though your little throat would burst.

Dewey could give you a get-around: ...my favorite Malcolm in the
Middle episodes.

Was it the one I caught 30 seconds of: "But Malcolm, we've been kissing
for two hours now; I have to go home".

Oh Tempora, oh mores.

Try the same rule you would use to complain about
receiving for Christmas two copies of The Brothers Karamazov.

Another (slight) variation I would like to suggest -- "one of my favorite
episodes of Malcolm in the Middle."

It's not nice to talk about Bill McCullom that way.
