A tour means to leave one's home for a specific purpose, esp,
sightseeing -- "guided tour", "sexual tourism", etc. It usually refers
to a brief, short journey around a small area, during which one learns.
A journey is much vaguer -- It simply means travel, esp. over a long
distance and over more than a day.

Unless you are just going down to "the corner" -in which case that's
only half a journey. (Unless you are not coming back.) |
