For the FAPs here, I would have liked to ask this anonymously of Mark at
finaid but I don't have his email addy handy:

Scenario:

dependent student has an 04-05 ISIR with certain one-parent info listed
(divorced, no second parent)
household size: 5, 1 (our student) in college

same student's 05-06 ISIR has a different "parent" listed, (divorced, no
second parent)

I believe the 04-05 is the grandpa,
the 05-06 is really dad (different names, socials, dobs for the "parent" in
different years)

same address both years
same household size both years

This looks like conflicting info, I believe the right thing to do is at
least re-visit 04-05--

does this rise to the level of possible fraud?

bonus: have documentation that Dad filed, even though on FAFSA they said did
not file.

If any FAP could, also, please cross-post this to the finaid listserv thank
you.
