"University of Georgia Provost Arnett Mace said this week that the
increased use of part-time faculty and larger class sizes would surely
hurt the University System's national reputation because those
indicators are factored into rankings. "We expect that our rankings
are going to go down," Mace said. UGA ranked 20th among public
universities in the U.S. News & World Report rankings released last
