Post subject: Grad school after several years |
|
|
I'm considering applying for either an MBA or a masters degree in
public and international affairs, 6 years after getting my BBA from a
Big 10 school. My undergrad academic career was a tad mediocre - I
started college at 17, was quite directionless and attempted (poorly)
a triple major which resulted only in an average GPA. I'm trying to
get a sense of what tier schools I stand a realistic chance of getting
into -- to what extent can a solid employment record, international
experience, and strong test scores compensate for this?
Another issue is that I neglected to obtain academic references when I
graduated and I seriously doubt that any of my past professors would
have any recollection of who I am. Are college professors amenable to
providing generic letters to students from the ancient past?
