my class got canceled, NOW my life is postponed.

I was taking four classes this semester, but i have just learn that my java
computer class has been cancelled. This cancelation has taken place after
the second class meeting. This means that if i wanted to add another class
it would be the 2nd week of school. If i wanted to go to another school, i
would be hectic in between schools with lost of study time. Because my
school's computer department did not have the insight not to conflict major
classes like advance c++, which is held only once a year, and the java
class, which is important to computer science majors. Now, my whole
transfer plan is postponed.

Welcome to public university's. It is REALLY annoying, but you can get a
good education at a good price if you can put up with the hassles of them.
Most people do not graduate in four years because of just this sort of
thing. One guy I know was actually on track to graduate in four years at a
public university (he was in the band so got priority registration), but at
the last moment one of his final classes was cancelled because there wasn't
enough enrollment. He had to go one more senester to get it done.
Why is this one class so crucial to your transfer if you don't mind me
asking? Can't you just apply and explain what happened. It was certainly
beyond your control!

Most online schools offer classes starting every 8 weeks. Also, "night
school" and continuing ed programs at local Universities or CCs do the
same. Surely, you can find one, enroll and then transfer your credit
in before this term ends! Just be sure if you do choose the online
route, you pick an accredited school. Fisher in Boston is cheap, and
I think they may have an online Java class. Good luck to you.
