We (parents and child over 1 received a telephone solicitation from a
man (apparently with an Indian accent), who wanted us to commit to a
program that would give access to government grants. Although he
emphasized the word "free," it turned out that he wanted us to commit
to a $199 purchase. The website is at www.grantsorloans.com

If I had been on one of our telephone sets, rather than near the
computer, I might have told him something like "Forget you!"

Well at least this wasn't one of those companies that say that they
guarentee you getting the grant. That is a lot more worse. You can't
guarentee that someone gets a grant because your application is
submitted along with others and the one that is awarded the grant is
the one that best fits the need/objective of the grant.
