I need help deciding on a graduate program to study computational
biology. My top academic choice is MIT which has an interdisciplinary
computational and systems biology program and is overall great biology,
bioengineering, math and cs departments.
However, because being in the NJ are would be desirable for a personal
reason I am also considering Princeton. It doesn't have a special
program, so I would be with mostly biology people, but has some great
faculty and a good multidisciplinary environment.

I realize that MIT is probably better but I'm wondering how big of a
sacrifice I would be making by going to Princeton instead, it is also a
great school with a great reputation for training scientists.

PS. I don't want to have to fixate on the particulars of where I live.
Graduate school is not forever and there are more important things in
life. I know NJ is boring but I'll deal with it.

Thanks for any advice.
