It was the biggest voter turn out in history.
Turn out the guard.
Slower vehicles must use the turn out.
The film did not turn out.
Turn out the lights, the party's over.
Turn out the cuff and baste along the seam.
Turned out nice again.
Who let the tern out of its cage?
Left no seabird unstoned there, John.

The last sentence of "acknowledgements" in _A Paper Life_, the
autobiography of Tatum O'Neal (2004, ISBN 0-06-054097-4):
Finally, to give credit where credit is due, I want to thank
John McEnroe for being a great dad for my three children, and
my father, Ryan O'Neal, for giving me life and turning me
on -- and out -- to movies.

He turned her out of the family home at least once IIRC. |

You must turn out your room today. There's too much mess in there.
Cheers, Sage

It turned out that 30 April 2005 was the day that Tony would have to turn
out the filing cabinets in his office at No 10 Downing Street, in case the
unusually large turn-out of the electorate turned him out of office. He
instructed his assistants to turn out all paperwork that might be useful to
his political opponents, should they gain power. In such circumstances, he
and Cherie would be turned out of No 10 at four hours notice. But first, he
would have to turn out at a final political rally, to muster last-minute
support in the election. As his chauffeur-driven limousine turned out of
Downing Street into Parliament Square .... [to be continued].
