Should I say "I have an allergy to peanut" or "I have an allergy to
peanutS"?
Thank you. |

I'd say either "I'm allergic to peanuts" or "I have a peanut allergy." |

In speaking of being allergic to something, "something" is in the
singular only if it's a mass noun. "Peanut" isn't (at least not
usually), so you want the plural -- the second version.

These are also correct, and all three correct forms are interchangeable.
