I need any information and help on recieving or applying to academic
scholarships of any kind but most specifically in the education major.

Try going to your school Financial Aid office or visit their website
for scholarship information. Also, with an education major you should
have a mentor/couselor assigned to you. Check with the advisement
office.

Check with the guidance counselor for any local scholarships that may
be available. Many local organizations such as Rotary Clubs etc.
provide scholarships. The problem is alot of people don't know about
them. Apply for every scholarship you learn about. Complete the FAFSA
form as soon as possible after Jan. 1 of your child's sr. yr. of high
school. Also check with your employer. They may already have a program
or under some circumstances, be willing to start one for you
