We are filling out the FAFSA for 2004 - 2005 for our daughter. Her
mother and I are divorced. She has primary custody so we are entering
only her financial information, not mine. Do I also need to sign (send
digital signature) the FAFSA? I did last year but I don't know if this
was really necessary . . . Thanks!

Only the custodial parent provides info on the FAFSA and is the only one
who should sign it. In fact, if you are doing an online FAFSA it will
ask which parent's info is being provided and will ask only for that
parents PIN at the end. It should not even offer you the opportunity to
sign.
