We just purchased our first home in 2003. I know that the interest
paid on a home can help when preparing taxes. Can it help me at all
when it comes to getting financial aid? I hope to qualify for
subsidized loans. When completing my financial info on the FAFSA I
didnt notice any place to include this kind of thing.

Thanks,
Kim

Your house is not a factor on the FAFSA. The equity doesn't count as an
asset, and they don't care about your expenses either.
