Hi,

I am a US citizen and have finished a US University (4-year BS degree)
however I am planning on studying a Masters (MSc) in the UK. I will
most likely have to get a loan to finance my tuition and living
expenses.

I was wondering what is the best way to find out information about a
loan. I did not have a loan at an undergraduate level so I am
unfamiliar with FAFSA and all that information.

Should I look into US government education loans, private US Bank
loans, or a loan in the UK? How does this procedure work?

Thank you for information.

Kind regards,

If the school you plan to attend has been certified for US federal aid
(called Title IV), then you can get a Stafford Loan of up to $18,500 by
filing the FAFSA.

But only some foreign schools are certified. To find out if yours is, go
to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ and click on "Find my school codes."
