What is difference about "because" and "because of"?
And could you tell me when we use "because" and "because of"?

The first should be followed by a clause.
The second by a noun, plus any modifiers that apply to the noun.
"of [noun]" is a prepositional phrase.

Examples: I didn't go out because it was raining. (clause)
I didn't go out because of THE rain (noun)
because he is stupid
because of his stupidity
etc.

Because + a complete sentence:
Because it is raining, …....
Because + none:
Because of raining……. |
