Post subject: [FITW] for some value of "exact" |
|
|
A KMOX-AM anchorwoman said something about American's eating many
calories' worth of food at Thankgiving dinner, "up to two to three
thousand calories, to be exact."
About the Subject-line tag: There are many aue threads that start with a
post wherein the postet does nothing more than to note a usage that he
found somewhere (and perhaps ask whether or where it's standard or some
similar question). My impression is that such threads are generally
short. I suggest we tag their Subject lines with "[FITW]" (for "found in
the wild") to identify them (in part so that those who wish to can ignore
them easily).

To be more precise, approximately between two thousand and three thousand
calories. |

Me too, I'm trying to cut down this year.
Welcome back, if you're The Real One.
Nice try, if you're an impostor. |

He's probably 4000 calories realer than he was, at a guess, if he |
succeeded.
