Presto Cee Analog Medium (Translucent Anthracite/Charcoal)
Anthracite? Come on. How many people are going to know what that looks
like. I can see using graphite, charcoal or diamond in a description of a
watch, but anthracite?

I think it's just fashionable among the design jerks: my electric
cooker is "anthracite". They don't really expect anybody to know what
they mean, since I think they're only talking to one another; but, as
it happens, I'm familiar with anthracite, and my stove really is that
colour.

Wasn't it Zaphod Beeblebrox who, when informed by Arthur Dent that he |
was going to be sick inside the Disaster Area rock group's all black
spaceship, black walls, black floor, black chairs, black control panel
with black buttons, their various uses written in black ink, said, "Go
ahead, we could use some colour in here"? |

Anthracite is a colour? I'd have guessed it was one of those
little Anthrax critters.
