I've been finding it really difficult to meet good guys in the normal
offline place, ie. bars, clubs, at the grocery store, etc.. Sooo...I
turned to online dating and have met a few guys on Catch27.com, who
I've gone on a few dates with - it's been interesting, some were good
and some were bad. But all my friends give me a hard time about
dating guys I meet online at all. What do you guys think? Am I
weird, or is this becoming normal these days?? It is 2004, after all

Sounds reasonable to me. As long as you're taking the regular safety
precautions, of course -- meet the guy first in a neutral public
place, don't tell him too much personal information until you're
fairly sure he's not a cyber-stalker etc. But other than that,
why not? The internet's just another 'place', and if it works it
works.
Tell your friends that if they don't like it, they can feel free to
try and find some better guys for you to date. :-)

I don't think the problem is meeting guys online, but don't YOU feel a
little bit weak ?! I mean, sure it's easier to find some good things
, and i do agree with the fact it is hard to find someone offline,
but I just think that you care more about someone you find offline,
than you do about someone online.
Since it was easy to find someone, and if you get to lose him, it
will be easy the same amount to find another one ... and we are aware
of it. However, if you just wanna meet some guys, and sleep with them,
and forget about'em , i think internet is the best place to find it.
You might as well be careful.

I don't think the "real problem" is meeting guys online... but don't
YOU feel a little bit weak ?! I mean, sure it's easier to find some
good things , and i do agree with the fact it is hard to find
someone offline, but I just think that you care more about someone you
find him offline, than you do about someone found online.
Since it's easy to find someone, and if you get to lose him, it
will be easy the same amount to find another one ... and we are aware
of it. However, if you just wanna meet some guys, and sleep with them
for one night, and forget about'em , i think internet is the best
place to find it. You might as well be careful.
