I recently took the GRE's and scored well on Verbal but would like to
improve my Quan. scores. My question is this. If I take the test
again, and would the new scores supplant the old or can I use the old
verbal and the new quan? I rather throw all my time preping for math
and not verbal.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Your score report will show both scores, and your application should
have spots for more than one GRE score report, so the schools you're
applying to will see both the previous and the new one. Some will take
a mixed score from two tests - if in doubt, check with the schools you
want to apply to. It's worth a retake if you can indeed improve your
quant score.
