I want to pursue a degree in some form of Computers/Technology. I have
seen that Depaul University offers a BS in Network Technologies and a
BS in Information Technologies. And Purdue University has BS degrees
in Computer Technology with concentrations in Systems Integration and
Telecommunications and Networking Technology.

There is also another university that has degrees that I am interested
in, the University of Advancing Technology (http://www.uat.edu), but I
am not sure about the reputation/quality of education.

I don't believe that Computer Science or Electrical/Computer
Engineering are for me. I'm more of a hands on person that has had
experience with systems/network administration/integration.

I guess the main question(s) that I am trying to ask from all of this
is, does anyone have any input about the quality of education that I
would receive from these schools while pursuing one of the above
degrees? Would any of these degrees help me in job placement, or are
companies mainly interested in Computer Science/Engineering degrees?

Thanks. I tried not to be confusing in this post, but I think I failed
at that.
